The Rules Of Golf For Other Forms Of Play And Administration (Rules 29 to 34)
Rule 29. Threesomes and Foursomes.
In both a threesome and foursome partners must play alternately from the teeing grounds and alternately during the play of each hole. The order of play is not affected by penalty strokes.
Rule 30. Three-Ball, Best-Ball and Four-Ball Match Play.
Rule 30 details variations which shall apply to the normal rules of the game in the case of three-ball, best-ball and four-ball match play.
Rule 31. Four-Ball Stroke Play.
Rule 31 details variations which shall apply to the normal rules of the game in the case of four-ball stroke play.
Rule 32. Bogey, Par and Stableford Competitions.
Bogey, par and Stableford competitions are forms of stroke play in which play is against a fixed score at each hole. Rule 32 details variations from the normal rules of the game as they apply to these particular forms of play.
Rule 33. The Committee.
Rules 33 defines the role and responsibility of the Committee and covers such things as defining their role in respect of bounds and margins, new holes, timings and groups, handicapping, score cards, local rules, penalties and much more.
Rule 34. Disputes and Decisions.
Rule 34 defines the manner in which disputes should be handled and decisions taken in both match play and stroke play.
